Scottish Turn The Tables

Originally following the political theme, this event first saw event patron David Steel and adjudicator Sheena McDonald overseeing Alex Salmond interviewing BBC correspondent Brian Taylor and Charlie Falconer interview Allan Little. In 2009, NEC member Caroline Orr introduced a sporting element, with adjudicator Andy Hamilton barely controlling Sir Chris Hoy’s interrogation of Richard Moore and Gregor Townsend’s attack on Ian Robertson.

Participants of the last Scottish Turn the Tables lunch, which was held at the Sheraton Grand, included former Scotland manager Craig Brown and BBC Scotland’s Dougie Donnelly Norman Mair.
